Shelley has been part of the Peter Prosser family for nine years. She started off as a humble Saturday girl, and enjoyed the salon environment so much she decided to carve out a career there! “Hairdressing hadn’t been my plan, but when Peter sought me out for some Saturday work, I found myself in the profession for me!”
Shelley has only ever been a Peter Prosser stylist, and so her training has been exclusively tailored to the Peter Prosser salon, and client! This was part of the appeal of the salon Shelley said, “Peter offers such great training and opportunities, which never finish just inside the salon walls. We are lucky enough to experience an abundance of hairdressing, and are consistently encouraged to be better!”
As a member of the Art Team, Shelley enjoys the communal atmosphere, “we are all talented in different areas of hairdressing, and are lucky enough to trade tips and lessons with one another to ensure we stay on top of our game!” Shelley said.
Shelley, along with the rest of the Art Team attended the 2011 British Hairdressing Awards, as Peter Prosser had been nominated for an award, which Shelley described as “major!” Shelley wants to ensure she keeps progressing within Peter Prosser, develop her skill set and generally stay involved with all things creative!
