Vicki Loveridge started her hairdressing career a decade ago, having always had a love of all things creative, Vicki knew she wanted a career she could utilise her creative abilities in, and hairdressing allowed her artistic self to shine.
Joining Peter Prosser seven years ago, Vicki has solidified herself as a sought after stylist, and can be called upon for everything fashion! She is the go-to trend girl and always has her finger on the latest looks! “Peter Prosser has allowed me to tie all my interests into one incredible career-it is truly the best salon both to come to and to work in.” says Vicki “Being part of the Art Team has enabled me to fully explore the creative field, which I love, and offers us all the most amazing opportunities.”
Vicki is proudest of the 2011 collection that she had a hand in creating. “Photoshoots are great fun” Vicki says, “they are extremely hard work, but it is an invaluable experience.” Vicki also finalised in the 2009 Trend Vision Award, Midlands category. Awards are one of many ways that Vicki furthers her hairdressing capabilities, as she has also started teaching her craft two days a week in the Peter Prosser Academy.
“I love teaching” Vicki says, “it is imperative that we pass on the skills that we are lucky enough to have been taught, it is all about pushing boundaries, and welcoming new talent.”
Vicki hopes to continue on with her teaching, whilst also retaining her in-salon work, and of course, her highly valued role on the Art Team.
